Fluidra’s activities revolve around water and its sustainable and responsible use, at the service of people’s well-being and health.

Fluidra wishes to furnish society and, in particular, those people who most need it, all of the knowledge it has acquired about this vital resource over its almost 50 years of history.

In line with this approach, Fluidra set up the Fundació Fluidra in 2016, a natural step forward in its commitment to society, so to better focus its corporate social responsibility initiatives and have a greater impact on society.

 

WATER AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Fluidra is fully engaged in the Millennium Development Goals and it has therefore contributed to various water and sanitary projects across the world for a number of years. Following the schemes undertaken in previous years in Ethiopia, Ecuador, India, Haiti, Mali and Kenya, Fundació Fluidra is now planning to roll out a major own project in partnership with Escola Pía.

Fluidra’s support of strategies that contribute to sustainable human development and to improving the living conditions of the most deprived groups is therefore helping to reduce poverty in the world

CRAM – Conservación y Recuperación de Animales Marinos

Fluidra also gives support to CRAM, a foundation that works on the conservation and improvement of the marine and coastal environment in order to protect its biodiversity.

 

Fundación Empresa & Clima

As a key player in the sustainable development of the communities in which it operates, Fluidra works with this foundation that offers businesses the tools necessary to meet climate change commitments and overcome the challenges associated with it. It also draws up the guidelines necessary to improve efficiency in the reduction of emissions.

 

CWP – Catalan Water Partnership

The Catalan Water Partnership is a strategic cluster in which consultants, centres of knowledge, manufacturers, engineering firms and other entities related to the water cycle work together to encourage multi-level partnerships that take a sustainable approach to finding innovative solutions to the global need for quality water that can be used anywhere in the world.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP)

APSP is the world’s oldest and largest association representing the swimming pool, spa, and hot tub manufacturing industry. It is also the only industry organization recognized by the American National Standards Institute to develop and promote national standards for pools, hot tubs, and spas. APSP members such as Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. lead the industry in knowledge, skill, service, and best-in-class business practices.

California Pool & Spa Association (CPSA)

CPSA advocates for its swimming pool and spa industry members before the California legislature and state and local regulatory agencies. CPSA provides professional and consumer education and promotes the highest standards of business conduct in pool construction, service and repair in the state of California.

The Foundation for Pool and Spa Industry Education (FPSIE)

FPSIE’s goal is to raise the standards of design, functionality, and safety knowledge for recreational and decorative water features. The foundation’s accredited curriculum of courses and training educate, motivate, validate, and train pool and spa professionals. FPSIE conducts APSP and National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) certified training and leads seminars on water chemistry, new products, repair and more.

Independent Pool & Spa Service Association (IPSSA)

IPSSA promotes the professional growth of its pool service technician members and supports the continued improvement of the pool and spa industry.

Master Pools Guild

Master Pools Guild is a global network of top custom pool builders who have a strong commitment to quality, customer service, and business ethics.

Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA)

NESPA provides education, networking and business support to its pool and spa industry members in the northeastern United States. NESPA also owns and operates the Pool & Spa Show, which is one of the swimming pool industry’s largest annual events, drawing professionals from all over the country.

Paramount Advisory Committee Enterprise (PACE)

In-floor cleaning technology manufacturers, Paramount Pool & Spa Systems, founded PACE to act as a product development advisory board. PACE brings together pool builders from around the country to plan future advancements for the automatic pool cleaning industry.

United Pool Association (UPA)

UPA provides its pool service technician members with industry information and insurance programs from a top-rated liability insurance carrier.

WAVE Young Professionals Group

WAVE is a group of APSP young professional members that have joined to nurture and educate future pool and spa industry leadership

Club Natació Sabadell

Fluidra sponsors a number of local sports associations and clubs. The water polo teams at Club Natació Sabadell are amongst the most successful sponsored by the company.

Real Federación Española de Natación (RFEN)

Fluidra is the Platinum Sponsor of Royal Spanish Swimming Federation (Real Federación Española de Natación in Spanish) through to 2020 Olympicsis. With this agreement, RFEN will give Fluidra naming rights for the Spanish Spring, Summer and Winter Swimming Championships.

OSA Oceania Swimming Association

Thanks to this partnership agreement, Fluidra provides OSA with their knowledge of the swimming pool sector.

UANA Unión Americana de Natación

Fluidra

has closed a deal with the Unión Americana de Natación (UANA), which brings together swimming federations from all countries on the American continent.

 

AASF Asia Swimming Federation

Fluidra also supports aquatic competition sports in the Asian region through an agreement reached with the Asia Swimming Federation (AASF). This federation, created in 1978, encompasses national federations from 45 Asian countries.

 

Indescat

Since its foundation, Fluidra is has been a member of the Catalan sports industry cluster Indescat. This association, which has over 70 members, aims to attract businesses, sports events and research centres with links to the world of sport in Catalonia so that they work together to take steps that will give businesses in Catalonia an edge over competitors by favouring the development of innovative services and products, as well as their international outreach.
