    El 8º Campeonato Mundial de Natación FINA se llevó a cabo en Abril de 2006 en el Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena en Shanghai, China. El evento de competición fue un gran éxito, con la participación de atletas de 116 países diferentes.

    Para este evento, Fluidra instaló una piscina de competición Skypool de 25 x 25 x 2 m y una piscina de calentamiento Skypool de 25 x 10 m.
