Fluidra, the global leader in equipment and connected solutions for the pool and wellness sector, closed 2025 with significant progress in its sustainability strategy, meeting its defined targets while reinforcing its roadmap towards carbon neutrality by 2027. The company made progress across its three ESG pillars – environmental, social and governance – in a year marked by an increasingly demanding regulatory environment.
In climate action, Fluidra advanced its commitment to carbon neutrality, accelerating emissions reduction. In 2025, renewable electricity usage reached 93%, up from 89% in 2024, while Scope 1 and 2 emissions were reduced by 70% compared to 2021. The company also improved its energy efficiency by 5%. These achievements were driven by initiatives such as fleet electrification, solar panel installations, energy optimization and the use of biofuels.
In addition, the company maintained a positive trajectory across key sustainability indices, achieving a score of 77 from S&P, a B rating in CDP Climate and CDP Water, and an AA rating from MSCI. At the same time, the global customer satisfaction index (NPS) stood at 54 points.
In water protection, Fluidra continued to advance its “water positive 2030” strategy through projects aimed at improving water efficiency and promoting nature-based solutions. Water intensity fell to 112 m³ per thousand euros of sales, compared with the 124 m³/k€ recorded in 2024, representing a 10% improvement. The company also made its first investments in local projects in Spain and Brazil to strengthen water resilience and promote responsible natural resource management.
2026 targets: completing the company’s first sustainability strategic plan
Looking ahead to 2026, Fluidra has set targets that further accelerate its path to carbon neutrality. The company expects to reach 96% renewable electricity, reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 90% compared to 2021, and certify six additional sites under ISO 14001.
Fluidra also aims to increase up to 60% the share of sales from products classified under its internal sustainability framework, continue reducing water intensity, and raise its standards in social and governance matters. In this area, the company has also set a goal to improve its water efficiency by 3% and offset up to 20% of its water footprint through projects in local watersheds.
Fluidra has published its 2025 Integrated Report, which provides a detailed account of its economic, social, and environmental performance, as well as progress on its commitments and its roadmap toward carbon neutrality.
