Meydan Stables pool: horses also enjoy a perfect pool & wellness experience
Meydan Racecourse is a great hippodrome located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The grandstand is over a mile in length and can accommodate over 60,000 spectators. It features some equine swimming pools used to heal horses without bearing weight. Equine swimming pools enable the development and/or maintenance of cardiovascular fitness and thus are an important component of most rehabilitation and conditioning programs. The horse is completely non-weight bearing which unloads the joints and soft tissues and eliminates ground reaction forces.
