Junior Pan American Games 2025 Asunción
Asunción, Paraguay

The latest and most innovative aquatic center in South America
Fluidra successfully delivered a turnkey aquatic project in Paraguay for the Olympic Aquatic Center in Asunción, which hosted the Junior Pan American Games 2025 from August 9 to 23.
Description of Fluidra's scope
As part of this project, Fluidra built an Olympic-standard pool for swimming, water polo and artistic swimming, ensuring compliance with international competition requirements. The pool was constructed using SkyPool modular panels, an innovative and flexible solution that allowed for rapid installation, adaptability to both new and existing infrastructures, and long-term durability. To enhance versatility and optimize pool usage, the project also included Fluidra’s Bulkhead system—a state-of-the-art mobile platform that divides the pool into separate, functional zones. This system provided the facility with greater flexibility to host multiple aquatic disciplines and training sessions simultaneously. In addition, Fluidra devloped a diving pool with Skypool modular panels, equipped with its diving tower and advanced Sparger technology. This system released high-pressure air from the pool floor to create a cushion of bubbles, significantly enhancing athlete safety by softening landings during dives and reducing impact risk. Fluidra also supplied all the hydraulic and water treatment equipment, as well as the competition accessories for all pools. With this project, Fluidra reaffirmed its leadership in delivering world-class aquatic facilities, combining cutting-edge technology, modular construction, and adaptable design to meet the needs of major sporting events and long-term community use.
